In August 2024, in compliance with LHDN’s e-invoicing requirements, ABSS released new versions of ABSS Accounting and ABSS Premier.
Both now have the word “Connect” added to the name, ABSS Accounting Connect and ABSS Premier Connect.
What does “Connect” mean?
Connect implies that your on-premise ABSS solution is now connected to a cloud service provided by ABSS.
Both ABSS Accounting and ABSS Premier are still on-premise solutions, which means you still need to install the solution and create your company file on your computers, very much like you have been doing all this while.
The difference is, now both have the ability to connect to the cloud service provided by ABSS called ABSS Connect.
This connectivity to ABSS Connect primarily serves to facilitate submission of e-Invoices to the MyInvois portal via the API provided by LHDN.
ABSS Connect will soon include other features such as AI Scan, bank connectivity, as well as a mobile app that will be launched in stages.

Pricing
ABSS Connect solutions are now on an annual subscription model.
e-Invoice compliance
The solutions have been enhanced to include the required fields and functionality for direct submission of e-Invoice to LHDN.
Cloud connectivity
The new versions of ABSS solutions will be connected to ABSS Connect cloud services to facilitate submission of e-Invoices to LHDN in real time.
What’s not changed?
The same familiar user friendly interfaces and process flows.
What this means is that the way you issue invoices to and receive payments from customers, record and pay supplier bills, etc remain the same.

After you have subscribed to ABSS Connect, you can download the invoice and receipt from the portal.

With ABSS Connect, you can add up to 5 data or company files per serial number.
