HRDF Compliance

In March 2021, HRDF  coverage was expanded to cover all industries with 10 or more Malaysian  employees.

Payroll v13 has been updated to comply with these requirements.

Setup HRDF Contribution

In the Command Centre, click on HRDF Contribution.

Alternatively, click on Command Centre, Setup, then HRDF Contribution from the menu at the top.

hrdf contribution rate

Adjust the rate according to HRDF requirement, either 1% or 0.5%.

Global setting

Select HRDF to be included in payroll calculation.

Employee setting

If you are upgrading from a previous version, and you do not previously have Use Default Setting checked for employees, then check each employee’s payroll details.

To check this, in the Command Centre, click on Card File, Payroll Details, then select Basic Pay and click on Details.

ABSS Payroll v13.1 (MY), released in December 2021, has the following enhancements:

Payroll Component Information – Deductions Components

The HRDF contribution option has been added to the payroll deductions component screen.

Leave Category Information Screen

ABSS Payroll enables automated calculation of leave encashment or unpaid leave.
HRDF is now added to the checkbox options at the Leave Category Information screen.

HRDF Contribution Report

The HRDF Contribution Report has been updated to cater for Deductions Components and Leave Category Information enhancements.

Note: Any HRDF payroll component added via ‘Edit Payroll Archive’ or ‘Edit Payslip’ screens will not reflect on the HRDF Contribution Report. 

To ensure these updates reflects on the HRDF Contribution Report, please add the necessary HRDF payroll components via Command Centre > Card File > Payroll Details.
